Depends on area. The part of verizon that was purchased by frontier will let you get it if you are in an area that it has been placed on the street. They will install the box and wire you up. But your right they aren't expanding that network. It is so much better then anything else. Im jealous if you can get fios. A lot of apartment complexes in Seattle and Portland as well as a small part of Indiana area have it prewired with no contracts.

I had it when I was playing DFO, then canceled when I was done playing games. Been on a serious hiatus the last 2 years on Comcast 15mb/s boost service since there hasn't been anything worthwhile to dedicate myself with.
