What the actual fuck is this man's problem? How do you explain this kind of childish behavior in a grown ass man? I'm not one for pomp and circumstance or one to stand on tradition, but come on. How about a little dignity?
And why say basically the same thing 5 times within the span of 30 minutes? Did he not get enough likes at 5am on a Saturday to stroke his ego? And then, just because I can, I think I'll take a jab at Swartzy, cause, WTF not, I do what I want?

Shapiro's take on this seems pretty spot on to me.

If the allegations are true, the scabdal dwarfs anything else in the history of the republic. Shouldn't that be where your outrage should be placed?

It's not as if the idea is inconceivable.

Makes claims, offers no proof or evidence, Trumpets 100% believe him.

I do believe Roger Stone just made it clearer where the Trump Russia connection is. Its thru Assange and wikileaks. Remember when Trump asked Russia to release the rest of Clinton's emails? I just gotta say, buckle up we are in for one wild ride.

Not only that. REPUBLICAN James Comey is asking the Justice Department to reject Trump's wiretapping claims.

I guess my question, is - assuming for a moment, despite lack of evidence and Comey (no enemy to Trump during the election) saying it wasn't true, but assuming for the sake of discussion that Trump's allegations are true, how do you reconcile that with your prior support of all things related to the govt secretly spying on everyone?

It's OK to spy on, and record the comings and goings of everyone - just as long as they aren't wealthy and running for political office?

Where have I ever said that it was OK to spy on or record the comings and goings of everyone?

I think you must have me confused with someone else.

Trump is all for it, for starters. You were big on it back during the Bush era, I recall you specifically defending the NSA's use of Narus STA-6400 that they got caught embedding in AT&T's domestic fiber network, and their sucking up and recording of pretty much everyone's' data/activities. You even explained what the Narus did for the rest of the forum audience.

If that has changed, then good.

Who knows, maybe after thinking himself spied on by the previous administration, Trump to actually realize that govts shouldn't spy on their own citizens, and take drastic steps to ensure the future integrity of a Constitutional Republic. I doubt it, and think it more likely he will simply justify his own use of such tools for his own ends, but who knows?

You will have to find that post and quote it then, but as I say, you must have me confused with someone else.

If you don't actually support the Surveillance State, then so much the better. No need to rehash discussions from over a decade ago, and I'm not even sure they still exist in this iteration of the Oracle.

Might want to take a close look at Trump, and his plans/statements though.
