Great game and good memories. I recently found out that there are several emulator servers, some with 1000+ players. I started a character on each of these servers and it brought back some good memories. If anyone is interested in getting together and casually playing some SWG let me know:

You are supposed to use an original client install, but you can find a copy in many places including r/swg sidebar.

I let that hound go with the first "Space" expansion. I couldn't take it anymore as the devs completely dicked this title and opened the door to the perma wallet ban for SoE.

One of the best beta's I ever played and BRIA for the first year was afire in PvP TEF wars ever day, it was great.

Sadly, like everything else decent, devs or suits end up grudge humping anything good into the ground.

The good thing is that most of these emulator servers are pre "combat upgrade" patch and Jump to Lightspeed expansion, which seems to be the sweet spot that the most people enjoyed.
