It saddens me to announce the passing of one of our long time PD leaders, Wayne "Jarelle" Cook. He had been battling heart issues for several years and yesterday, at 2pm EST, he lost that battle at the young age of 46. He was the kindest soul could ever meet and will be missed. It is a stark reminder of our own mortality. There is no reset button or healing spell in life. Take care of yourself and take care of your loved ones because even the biggest hearts can fail.

Wayne had no wife and no kids but he leaves the financial responsibility for his memorial to his mother, who has no real means to pay for it. We're reaching out to PD and our allies to help his mother pay for the burial. We've set up a "go fund me" account to help with the costs. I'm very sorry to hear that. Wayne was a great guy. Please offer my condolences to his mother. She doesn't know me, but perhaps knowing how much people liked her son will help to assuage her grief.

Sorry to hear such said new William. As PD are great friend of ours it is disheartening to hear of such a tragedy. Especially only at the age of 46.

Definitely horrible to hear; even more-so that it was at such a young age.
