I was excited, I am very worried that this might look like there will not be first person [frustrated] I hope this is not the case as the immersion for me in first person is my favorite aspect of gaming atm. We will see if they answer this soon.

I think its looking pretty good. I loved the first person for archery and magic but i think i could get used to the new over the shoulder if i have to. But its hard to say of 1st person is really out of the game or not.

As long as they have it, thats a huge part of what they promoted in the idea of the game. Also I was excited for elder scrolls online and it will be the same off centered third like this video. I could get used to it but it better be there - the first person option. I know it sounds silly to alot of people but its almost game breaking for me. The immersion in first person is my favorite part of gaming. Take that away and its just another game to me with everything else awesome.

I'm pretty sure that you will be able to press a Keyboard key and get back to fisrt person.
This feature was to draw more people to the game the cant stand to the first person.

3rd person views, together with tab target system, plus NO full loot pvp is that the real garbage! thats is remember me a game that KGB is playing right now!

Let me amend that. 3rd person over shoulder views are garbage. It cuts off a huge portion of sight on screen and with every game only giving you 90 degrees of viewing area the over the shoulder style makes combat way more clunky.

I love third person straight behind views like M&B. My fault.

Don't get stuck up on 'full loot' to the point you forget why it is important.

FULL LOOT PvP is there to equalize gear. This is the only valid purpose of it.

In DF1 it didn't achieve this goal, instead it increased grinding for everyone involved.

UO is good example of fool loot done right. GM-made gear, regs and you were good to go. If risky, you grab bone or go naked and you still do mostly allright. If you want to play risky you grab vanq, but that was painting huge target on yourself.

DF1 full loot system had none of this, instead it created naked rushes and created unwelcome grind.

what can be important to you can be none to me,
and to me walking around in GW2 with no consequences is boring TO ME, as to others MMOS that I played like SWTOR,AOC, etcs..

about the flaws of DF1, it has a lot, and DF2 will still have many that made people give up it. But lets try again.

really? i seem to remember always having at least 6 go bags ready and stacks of iron ect to make more as well
honestly yer point on that imo is off cuz the system in dfo was almost exactly like UO and worked almost identical.
only diff was magic vanq ect which with enchanting wasnt much different...
full loot isnt the only thing df had that made it awsome.
the fact that the combat was fast passed twitch skill based and amazing is what sold most on it full loot just helped to drive the idea home that this was the game for hardcore pvpers

To me the full loot is def just kinda a perk. The big thing for me is if they change it over to a tab target and smash your face on the keyboard ill walk away with no regret.
