Leaving Hyperion
Greetings from the Mountain of Aradoth.

Today, all of us who live under the mountain of Aradoth as well as our surrounding allies have decided to leave Hyperion, this includes the following guilds and all their holdings –

Mortis Consortium
OT Brotherhood
The Ancient Order
Bastards
Sentinels
The Mafia
Haven

We look forward to this next chapter of our gaming and were hoping that by making this step we can help move the server to smaller clans/alliances and perhaps add a fun factor that is not currently present, see you in game!

I would advise caution. Do not fool yourselves. These small "defections" from Hyperion are truly un-remarkable in the overall scheme of things. Hyperion continues to command an alliance of over 1000 active players.

Time will tell whether a true shift in the balance occurs, but I would not go dancing in the streets of Paris cause the German's are gone just yet.

yes well those left will be demoralized, and begin asking themselves questions, such as why are we still larping, and why should we pay taxes, and is the king a retard? Not to mention the fact that the pressure being applied to those 1000 players left is on going, many of them being farming carebears, and your 1000 man army is nothing but the dregs, scrubs, scabs, and merc rabble with no true sense of unity and being preyed upon daily.

I diagree Drak. But that's ok, we just see things from different perspectives. Hyperion is what it is, but can any of us claim different from our own alliances? And no one should be naive enough to think that the actions of anyone in their alliance are not designed to fulfill their own needs, KGB within COTC included. I would say that Hyperions focus may be shifting, and yes, their are cracks in the armor, but it has not fallen off yet. Give it a bit more time, I would say the events taking place up on Yssam will truly tell the tale.
