KGB CHOOSES NW REGION, SERVER, AND FACTION

We have made a decision on Server and Faction based on the information available to this point.
The choice is NA EAST - Morrow server and Covenant Faction.
Let me explain why:

This server is in the same cluster as our target server. When server merges happen, we will end up with many of our allies who are choosing Valhalla.
Cluster:
Valhalla
Xibalba
Morrow
Locuta
Krocylea

Faction: Despite the vote, I am choosing the Covenant faction better align with the majority of our current allies. We can change this if needed when server consolidation happens.

In conclusion: We would have little chance to effectively recruit on Valhalla against some of the biggest and most organized in the game. Choosing Morrow gives us a chance to get up and running, our serious and casual players to reach end game, and for us to recruit a new generation of KGBer. Then we move to the big leagues when server consolidation happens.

You and General Order 2:
General Order 2 states: "In game worlds / servers classified as an OFFICIAL FACTION, you are exclusively a Citizen of the KGB. You must put the goals of the KGB ahead of your own, and put your loyalty to KGB above all else. As a KGB citizen, you must not be a member of any other organization. You will be asked to terminate your citizenship in KGB if you are not willing to comply with the order"
In New World, if you choose to play with another organization, make sure you choose a different consolidation cluster. If you are consolidated on the same server as the offical KGB faction, you would be forced to comply and either join or forfeit your citizenship.

Some good friends that go back to Warhammer Online (and many games in bewteen). I think they would enjoy the game. They're good people. The ones who are going to play are going to join our server and faction.

RIght now it is PL to 60. We are spread around and helping each other based on the time folks have to invest. Donk is in his 40's and is leading KGB for time invested. Personally I am at 27. Are you playing?

Hey JetStar! I am but not as much as I would have liked :D We had our annual conference the same week that New World launched and between that and the queues, I've been more on my alt than my main. I think I hit L13 after getting in last night (I know, I know, noob!). But I did see a KGB or two when running around when I was at my Covenant check-in so figured I'd ask since it was a nice surprise :)

I'm hoping to get some playtime (and levels) in this week, though.

Thanks! If I glom onto New World, I may very well take you up on that :) Don't want to take up a slot (since I know they are limited) if it's more of a flash in the pan for me. But, so far, while there are things I would do differently (as any gamer or game designer would say, lol), I am having fun and I think it not only has some good bones but a lot of potential. 🤞🤞🤞

haha, no worries! Honestly, at this point in time, mainly just trying it out and see if it's going to be a flash in the pan (for me personally as I feel like this game has a lot of potential). But, if I'm still having fun after the first 30 days, I won't feel so guilty about getting a guild tag since I know spots are limited and I'm more just enjoying the journey vs grinding it at this time (so my level isn't the highest). So far, though, so good! But, was good to run into both of you and great to see the KGB tag after so long!

We have lots of room. Tag up if you feel like it. We wont hit 100 for some time.

Ran into Donk and he invited me as I was, ahem, getting his attention (I believe I was throwing spears to get his attention to say hi). Haven't had much time to play this week (family stuff) but you should see more of me soon!

Brother its good to see you. I have been traveling for work this week and am unable to really play much on my laptop. I logged in, but wireless etc made me hesitant to get into any deep stuff. I will be home Sunday night and back at it probably Monday, looking forward to seeing you around.

Same! And while I know some are leveling up quickly, I know there are still quite a few who are "enjoying the journey" so to speak (aka, I'm just slow, heh). While New World definitely has it's growing pains and challenges since it's new, it looks to have some good bones so hopefully a game we'll be playing for some time. Which should give plenty of opportunities to craft a few new stories, at least :)
