Do you feel that that vision bobs up and down too much? It seems slight but not distracting to me. I thought I could remember a time when it was more jerky.

at the start of the PU I once logged a bug report that my character has a limp

but since the last patch i did not have a strong view on it so i guess it improved

Here is the Star Marine demo that they ran today; just in-game feed w/o livestream. It still jumps alot between players (so it isn't as "smooth" as just watching one player view).

the bit at 3:07 worries me it just feels odd
it when the player vaults over the barrier I know the mechanic was on bugsmashers but it reminds me too much of
the first eva film where a player swings around the corner using a handle on the wall and that turned out to be an inserted cut sence

the fact its not perfect and his hand is above the barrier makes it more believable but it still feels like a plant

just spotted that its also the front slide of the film
can it be done yes, was it done in the live demo i dont think so
its a mechanic that CIG have and it was inserted after the event to showcase it

They had someone using the observer camera. I am sure they can go back after and rotate the camera on each players pov to see what kind of shots they can get for video. I don't think it was added after. Are you concerned that it is a mini animation that you are locked into?

game wise i have no issue with it,
just watching the film it felt out of place

Ah gotcha, I watched it again a few times and I can agree a bit it seems a bit strange because I don't recall seeing any other players do the same. But maybe it auto does that animation if you are running at a roadblock while sprinting perhaps.

Actually I think during the livestream that they MENTIONED that you could vault over things and that they would be showing that "later" in a video. (as I recall)

CR mentioned that mounting and slides/etc were not part of this particular build, so likely they added that in after.
