Patch Notes April 1st 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Archery Specialization has been split into two groups, you can buy one extension from each group:
Aquatic Shot - Mage Hunter - Master Scout
Jump Shot - Mage Killer - Mana Shield
If you're of sufficient rank in a clan, you can now invite a player into the clan by pressing alternative use (default G) on him.
More metal nodes have been added around starter areas.
Some hitbox issues with wildlife creatures have been addressed
When one clan declares WAR on another clan, the latter will get a warning. It will also take 5 minutes before the declaration becomes active. During this time the clan's affiliations will be set to WARY if they weren't already.
Declaring WAR on another clan now costs 2000gp
A bug which made it possible for a Siege Stone to be placed under architecture has been fixed.
As festivities draw to a close, all festivity hats and masks have been removed from the vendors.
There have been several bug fixes to the ingame boards.
When a clan member is kicked from a clan or a hamlet stone, he will now be transferred to the nearest greater or chaos stone depending on his alignment.

New Feature: Portal Chambers

Portal Chambers and Exits have been added to clan cities and hamlets.
You can upgrade the Chambers to level 3. Each level gives more health to the Chamber and shortens its recharge timer.
To use the Portal Chamber, the owning clan must have at least one exit in another city or hamlet that they own.
Anyone can use the Portal Chamber
The cost for a clan member to use the Chamber is 1 Portal Shard.
The cost for a player outside the clan is 2 Portal Shards
The cost for a player at war with the clan using the Portal Chamber is 3 Portal Shards.
Portal Shards can be found on various monsters around Agon.
Portal Chambers and exits can be destroyed the same way that clan city and hamlet structures are destroyed.
If a Portal Chamber is disabled and then gets repaired, it will take 60 minutes before it becomes active again.

New Feature: Deployable Strongboxes
3 types of Deployable Strongboxes have been added (for now): Persona, Party, and Clan.
A strongbox is a safe you can place almost anywhere in the world.
You can use strongboxes as local banks and store items inside them.
A strongbox will stay in the world for 2 hours. After that it will disintegrate into a lootable strongbox that anyone can access. The owner will get a timeout warning every 30 minutes and every minute during the final 5 minutes.
A strongbox can be destroyed. Once that happens it can be looted by anyone.
You can destroy a strongbox using all siege weapons except for the siege hammers.
When a strongbox is attacked or repaired, the owner will receive a notification.
There's a limit to how many strongboxes can exist in an area. If the limit is reached, a warning message informs you that you cannot place more strongboxes in the area.
There is also a limit as to how many strongboxes can be placed by a player.
A personal strongbox is only accessible by its owner.
A party strongbox is accessible by the owner and the party he is, or becomes a member of. Ownership follows the player that places the strongbox so if he leaves the party, party members can no longer access it. The members of any new party the owner chooses to join will have access to the strongbox.
A clan strongbox is accessible by the owner and the clan he is, or becomes a member of. Ownership follows the player that places the strongbox so if he leaves the clan, clan members can no longer access it. The members of any new clan the owner chooses to join will have access to the strongbox.
Personal strongboxes have 200hp, party strongboxes have 400hp, and clan strongboxes have 1000hp.
Strongboxes are craftable using the construction skill at the workbench.
Crafting a personal strongbox requires a skill level of 5.
Crafting a party strongbox requires a skill level of 10.
Crafting a clan strongbox requires a skill level of 25.

Monsters
We are constantly monitoring our game servers and we strive to improve PvE to provide a balanced experience for all play-styles. To that end:

All monsters are now more aggressive and effective against mounts.
The Devils located in the center of Agon have recruited some infernal minions to help them out in their battles.
Several A.I. bugs have been addressed.
All spawn points in and around the starter cities have been rebalanced and redistributed
A new monster group called the Sarnak can be found in various locations around Agon.
Several monsters have gained the ability to smell and sniff out approaching enemies.
Several monsters have had their vision rebalanced and they may be able to see approaching enemies better at night and others better in the daytime.
Certain monster types will now appear only at night or only during the day.
Spells, effects and behavior has been updated for the Fire Dragon.

Quests
