Alright. So I'm trying to get a feel for how everyone's character has evolved in the past few months.

Could some folks who are still actively playing Darkfall post their STATS (i.e. str, vit, etc) and what server their character is currently on?

I'm trying to gauge whether or not me returning to Darkfall will be worth it, or if I'll be buried alive. I miss owning face =/.

i think that stats help only a bit. Nothing can prevent you from be smoked in 10 seconds against a good mage(probly fire magic). :`P

Damn, my stats aren't far behind that...and I haven't played EU since at least May. If the cap is 100, I feel like I could cap them in 1-2 months.


But stats really do matter.....it adds over 50% HP, which makes a big difference, and STR/INT control damage.

I just want to play with you all again. I don't just miss Darkfall, I miss having fun with everyone.

And by the way, open factions are open factions. Anyone who thinks I left to play with another guild is in for another ride; if KGB is on NA then saddle up because I'm ready.

I'll post my actual stats when I get home and can get them, but let me speak to the "stats dont mean much"...Yah, I think they do.

I was in a straight up melee fight last night, me in with archery at 100 and all sub skills in the 80's, polearms at 73 ish, in scale, food and pot, my opponent also in scale and 2h sword only..damn good fight, damn good guy, my health line was about 1/4 or so left and his appeared that I just needed to land one or two good blows and he was down...he pulled a special and whammo..Im flat on my back.

We talked, as I said good guy (Im trying to see if he wants a better home)...his weap skill was slightly better than mine, around 80, which means he has some mastery, but the kicker was his stats I think. I dont know exact numbers (as I said) but my strength is somewhere around 43 ish, vitality the same and quick in the low 50's...his str, vit are in the 80's and quick was at 89 I think...combination of slightly better weapons skill but lower damage dealing weapon against my r40 polearm and lower stats spelled defeat for me.

Basically Kay, I started NA-1 2 weeks after it opened, my stats are mostly in the 40's, with wisdom and quickness in the 50's and Int, which is in mid 20's cause I hate freakin magic, and my weaps skills range from 50's or so for 1h swords, to the 73 for my polearm and of course archery which is 100 plus sub skills all in the 80's. Those stats far outweigh my EU character who I played from opening day to NA-1 start (missing the last 2 weeks for work travel). These skills and stats are from an almost completely solo game experience since I started, which was somewhere around July 27th or so, I can give you that exact date also. I missed an entire week in mid September for travel as well, so, with guildmates and resource advantages, along with available friends to work up parry and such, imagine what those skills could be like now. If your skills and stats are already in the mid 70's or more, then yes, you will be nightmarishly viable right now and max out in no time. Come back today and get re-acquainted so that you can transfer in a few days.

And let me add...no macroed skills here..these are played skills. Banshee keeps getting on me to go swim..LOL. Im afraid of the ban bat..lol

You will never be banned for swimming

I got kicked with a warning ... said I was running AFK, though I was really swimming into a dock post.

I know a GM personally through a forum; they absolutely will not ban you for swimming. Ever. (Or so he claims). They'll just warn the hell out of ya.
