I finally got my account, got sent to the torrent.

Is there a faster way to download the client? One that is reliable?

How big is the damn thing ?

I don't know how much bandwidth Jet has available
or storage space, but a private FTP setup might
solve some of the DL woes. . . .

Took me half a day. Bought it yesterday, fired it up last night when I got home, and was ready when I left up this morning for work.

I downloaded it from fileplanet.com and got it in 6 hours.

Carve, I dont have Torrent in front of me on this computer but a few things I did to try and spped it up was...

1. make sure your firewall has the port open necessary for the torrent file.I think i found the port number in the troublehooting or help feature of the torrent program..I dont remember off hand.

2 right click on the torrent file in the download tab in the torrent program and you will see bandwith and set the dedication to high.

Good luck it took me 3 days to download it..When I get home I will seed it for you..The more people seeding the quicker you download or so I am told..
