Our leaders have all been up for days with no sleep. I have asked for the next leader that wakes up to address our current status.

Personally, I will be in game playing tonight and all weekend. Hope to see you all then.

I hope I can buy the game soon. It's on "backorder" right now.

I don't have a pre-order so I can't get an account at the moment, and am not sure if I really want to spend money on this game right now.

What do you all think about what is going on? I want to spend some quality time with you all, and share our journey to conquest, but right now it seems like another AoC or Dark and Light. I guess we can't know right now, but I wanted to see what my buddies were gonna do before I jumped on a purchase. If anyone has an account I could play this weekend though I would love to try it out, and help farm, and see what was up.
With exploiting on the first day, and some guilds already buying cities with sploited gold, I just wonder if it will be worth playing until a month from now when it settles down. FFA loot is too awesome to pass up... hope they can server wipe and make the game playable, they should have kept it in beta for a little while longer it seems.....

What do you all estimate the attention factor for this game? One month, 3 months?

Well I can tell you Seaelf, there is no sandbox / full loot game out there besides DFO, and these days that is the only thing I am interested in.

I predict there are many that feel as I do, and I am going to be playing DFO over the long haul.

The sooner we get that out there the sooner we can all work together and be successful. Join us.

What Jet said, Sea. You played beta, man, you should know how fun the game was. I plan on buying ASAP. Because of work I have for school at the moment I mostly plan on afk macroing anyway, and waiting for Bishop to actually start playing.

You played the game, you know it was perfectly stable. All these issues are just because they used 1500 beta testers, and now have 15000 retail players. It'll settle, whether through patches or hardware upgrades.

And if the server transfers to American servers are just for the characters and not the cities, then in maybe 2-3 months we'll have a complete "server wipe" save for the stats on our characters, and by then the exploits will surely be gone.

Are you serious ? Wow. Some folks really behind the curve
in the intelligence department I think. Nothing raises a red
flag like purchasing a city or two within a day of release :|

Wonder how long it will take for the bots to show up and start
scripted fighting. . . .

You would think by now they would have learned from the mistakes
made in the other systems. *chuckle*

What is the 'current status' exactly?

This is purchasing a city plot, making an actual city is going to take MONTHS.

Hehe, ok, I guess I had a "moment". If anyone has an extra pre-order I could take over payments on, send me a PM, and I will jump on it.

I saw or heard on vent that we lost out on our first pick of city locations. We have backups though right? Where are these?
