Well I spoke to Drakiis during our meeting and we talked about doing a post like I did for DFO 2.

We need some data and stuff.

Who is playing and what server are you on?

I'm playing; trying to get on a couple evenings a week, but rarely seem to be timing things when others are on.

Currently on the Lysithea (Beta - East) server...but I've only seen two other KGB there so far.

Play style: I was leaning toward Engineer / Medic, but I could easily go Heavy Assault, or Infiltrator. (I was BR:20, CR:4 in PS1 - mainly Heavy Assault / Infiltrator centric.)

I used to do quite a lot of Galaxy piloting, but so far the Beta clients of PS2 have not been friendly to my aging computer setup = too laggy for me to adequately fly so far in this game. We'll see how things end up.

Addendum: The amount of time I dedicate to PS2 will *probably* depend on the KGB involvement & structure. If we have a Faction, and things are set, then I'll devote more time, if not then this will probably end up a casual shooter for me. I like playing with my friends, and I'm getting finicky about making random, new friends.

I have committed to GW2 wvw on weekends, if there is a group to run with, but I have been playing a lot on the east coast server since I thought that is where we were. To be honest I would go to any server to run with you guys if you want a diff server just tell me which.

Other than the Sunday when Wild and I ran most of the afternoon and evening together, and seeing willy for a few minutes, I have not seen or been in a KGB group. When and where does Drakiis play? How about the rest of you? I can play during the week after 4 pm pacific until late.

Post your hours and server here as requested.

I play with Sturmgrenadier [SG] on Lysithea East when I can, though the OT at work is heavy lately and haven't been on for a week and a half. I am a CST player from 1630-2000/2100pm M-Th and all day F-Sa when I am on a normal work week. I play Engineer, which is not exciting for others but more then enough for me as a Vanguard/Lightning Tank and Sunderer Driver. BR10 CR1 since last wipe. I know the main continent well, and the two newer one's in passing, my areas of operation are generally vehicle friendly locations, and not some of the more built up and rugged locations.

I basically can't commit to playing this randomly. I would be interested in helping with big events and stuff but you probably aren't going to log in and find me playing.

As for servers, I haven't played enough to grow attached to anything yet.

I don't plan to participate unless there is clear and active leadership from the day 1.

The great thing about this game is the lack of commitment. You can log in, kill shit, and log out.

I was excited about the game and then played it for about 3 weeks. With all due respect, its seems to feel like a lot of small Battlefield 2 maps strung together. Also there doesn't seem to be a "hold" period, so that once they are capped the other faction can re-cap quickly. Then again if they did this then most of the map would be locked up, so not sure about that.....

It was quite fun at times with the big groups. Since it will be F2P I will most likely play the first few weeks to see how it turns out. Unfortunaly I just got GW2 and with DF:UW coming out its going to be pretty tight on an already limited play schedule.

The capture mechanics changed this last patch now it's much more reasonable.

It is still beta mind you, I also have made posts about current updates and changes reflected in the games lack of proper mechanics.

Bang Bus Engineer is win.

Infultrators working together is Win.

Assault squads who deboard the bang bus and take holdings are Win.

In short, focus on being a Bang Bus/Armor & Infantry unit. It's easy, it's universal and you can always pew-pew people no matter who is on.

i purchased the alpha squad pre-order so I'll be playing but not under any tags, at least to start.

also please remove my PS2 officer tags/title, thanks.

Tas idea is pretty fun. I would hop in a bang bus as a passenger and hop out if there were nearby infantry with av weapons while they distracted them:) ended up with a 10:1 k/d that evening. Bang bus is where it's at!
