Quote:
The U.S. economy added 171,000 jobs in October, according to the nonfarm payrolls report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That was well above the expected 125,000, and private sector payrolls were up 184,000. Unemployment was little changed, up a tenth of a point to 7.9%.

Job growth was widespread, with gains in every sector but government, and the previous two months were revised higher. September’s figure was increased to 148,000, from 114,000, while August’s jobs tally rose to 192,000 from 142,000.

Clearly, they are fake and a conspiracy to get Obama elected.

OMG were saved since unemployment only rose one tenth. Oh but wait Obama admin said it wouldn't go above 5.6% by passing the stimulus... opps.

F.Y.I. 171,000 jobs is a drop in the bucket compared to the millions lost.

Unemployment ticked UP. From 7.8 to 7.9 - and those are just the shitty numbers the Govt uses.

Any media outlet saying anything like "jobs growth boost to Obama" is just a shill rag.

Economy needs to add more jobs than that just to keep parity with people entering the workforce, let alone provide a recovery. Thats not even counting the massive underemployment.

I would be more interested in seeing what TYPE of jobs filled those numbers to be honest.

In my opinion, minimum wage jobs shouldn't even count towards unemployment since those wages still put you under or at the poverty level.

Just my opinion though :D

Is this a dig at George Bush? Time to retire that one, since its gotten worse under Obama. Do we have to wait 4-8 years after Obama is out of office before we can see how he did? That seems to go along with your statement.

Looks pretty clear to me:
