Thanks for stopping in Tiros.

For those of you that dont know, Tiros once held the position of High Chancellor here in KGB. Personally, in our ventures into DAOC, Tiros and his friends provided me with the humor and drive to continue, at a time when KGB team work was at an all time low.

Former members like Tiros, Thinal, Asgagnanna, and Klamath, gave me the strength I needed to make it through DAOC and on to Shadowbane. This would be our greatest challenge, and the last instance of my direct leadership over a KGB faction. High Chancellor Vuldan Ironhand cannot be left out of this discussion. It was his interest, dedication, and leadership that expedited our presence in Shadowbane, and made our plight and exploits front page news in this new world.
We were faced with many challenges, and for the last time, I assumed direct and total control as High King. My politacal efforts and treaties I negociated proved to be ineffectual in spite of High Chancellor Vuldan Ironhand. Many of our core, High Chancellors and equal officers chose this time to leave KGB and our structure. Never again would we suffer such a hit to our leadership.
KGB Paladin and High Chancellor Binbs with the assistance of KGB Prime Minister Romeo Montague, built a coalition that would one day defeat COS and the alliances that divided us.
At what cost? Other factions determined our fate in many worlds. KGB Paladin and Arch Duke Locke as well as many other valued KGBers move on, and gave up their commitment that some of them had held since 1997.
Here we are today, honoring Champion Toxiclore. His record was mixed. He said things how he saw them, and in many cases offended our membership. Being RL physically handicapped, his presence in Virtual Worlds was unjudged, and he was able to excell as many of us do in RL.
Many could not deal with his observations, and or his evaluations, but I respected him and his opinions. I gave him rank based on his ability to see each KGBers ability.
Many would challenge my defense of him and his ideas, but we all know that he saw things from a different perspective.

In UO, in the early days, when I would venture out to see what was happening, before the GSS, I would feel real fear and adrenline like I was walking through Oakland at 9:00pm.

This was my attachment to Gaming, the real life factor.

No other game has offered this. Except Shadowbane, as KGB and its friends presented the olny challenge to COS and their well built alliance. We were never allowed to acquire the skills and balance during my tenor as leader that the COS desired as a challenge. KGB High Chancellor Binbs and KGB Prime Minister Romoe Montague would rise to the occasion and once again prove to the world, KGB's power when we seek a common goal.
Lets focus on a problem that our former members hold me accountable for, and forever judge me as a poor leader. Toxic was passionate, he had nothing else to give, but his all. I embraced this, and protected him from charges against his short temper. In exchange, I got a totally dedicated PvP expert, and after his Mothers call to me to thank me for what I had given him. I could not relent.

In conclusion, think of this. Many have come before you, and given everything to see us succeed. You now carry that responsibility, and with our new focus and Constitution, we will see success. Lets all workj together to enforce what Toxic worked for so hard, to make this success a reality.

In service to KGB,
