I'll start!

1. Mad Max: Road Warrior
2. Star Trek I
3. One flew over the Cuckoo's nest
4. The God Father; original, not the sequels
5. Star Wars--the Original 3 from the 70s-80s
Posted By: Helemoto Re: Top 5 movies of all time - 08/17/08 11:46 AM
1. Unbreakable
2. Highlander
3. Shawshank Redemption
4. Good Fellas
5. Freeway

Granted these are all personal choices. I picked ones that I would watch more then once, most movies I only watch once then never again.

Hell yeah at picking the original Godfather. I don't get why some people like part II better than part I.

Not too sure yet, I'll have to think about this, but I'm pretty sure my list will include The Shawshank Redemption and The Departed.

And although recent...i personally feel that Superbad should be considered a classic. My husky's name is "Mack Lovin" by the way. =)

Its a great movie but any movie that has drawing dicks in it can never been considered a classic

WHAT?! That's the funniest damn part in the entire movie! That whole scene had me crying!

It's the cry-baby "morale of the story" ending that I don't like. I don't know why movie producers feel that sort of ending is entirely necessary.

So the parents have some self justification to send their kids to see it!

Top 5? That's really tough... here are my individual top 5... (not in order)
---

Cool Hand Luke (Paul Newman is awesome)
The Godfather (first one)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indiana Jones... one of the greatest characters ever)
The Shawshank Redemption
Braveheart
---

Man, that's so tough to pick just 5... I want to put stuff like (more in order, closer to the top being more likely to be in my top 5):

- Scarface
- One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
- Apoc Now (origional, not the Redux)
- Fight Club
- American Beauty
- Star Wars (origional trilogy)
- The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
- Pulp Fiction
- Goodfellas
- The Usual Suspects
- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Man... so many I could name off.
