Hey guys,

I was just wondering what people thought of Bourne Ultimatum. I loved it, but Ive always been a fan of Matt Damon, ever since Rounders.

Ive already seen it 4 times lol.

Would watch again.

Superbad was also very very funny. I would definately recommend it, but there is so much cussing going on that movie that its not recommended for kids.

I also recently saw Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon. One of the best movies this year imo. Really gets your all emotional.

the movie was pretty bad ass havent seen superbad yet but cant watch it right now cant laf alot lol
Waiting to see Balls of Fury myself...
I liked Bourne Ultimatum especially the ending, but fav. movie of the summer was Live Free Die Hard for some reason !! Maybe it was the guy girl fight with Bruce Willis and the female villain...
Best of the 3 and the best sequal of the year imo. Looking forward to it being released on HD-DVD.
Bourne Ultimatum was pretty good. Some good moments were ruined due to WAY too much being shown in Previews at other movies previously (they seriously need to cut that shit out and limit previews to 20 seconds a piece).
Agree with Crimthan. Previews definately makes the experience more tame once you see the actual movie.

A good example of this is Death Sentence. I knew what it was about and had seen trailors, but my friend hadnt seen any trailors at all and Im pretty sure her experience was purer/better.
I like the movies, especially Ultimatum.

Right now I'm re-reading the books. I'm in the middle of Supremacy. It's amazing how different they are. I'd recommend picking up the books if you're into spy thriller stuff. The characters of much more complicated in the books and their backgrounds are in some cases entirely different. Enough stuff happens in the first book to fill the whole trilogy of movies. Still, the movies hold the spirit of the books remarkably well.

I'd definitely recommend the novels. Given the Bourne Identity was written 1975, it's really cool how well it holds up given how the world has changed: the cold war was still hot, America just got out of Vietnam, there were no cell phones and no internet. Still the book does not feel dated.

Books always kick the !@#$ out of the movies.

Assuming the book was written prior and the movie was
based on it.

Far too many don't read anymore though.

Movies = stories for those with ADHD.
In the case of these movies Ludlum's books weren't followed. There was a much deeper storyline and a good deal more antagonists in the books which came out long before the movies.
Example, Bourne actually married Marie who was originally a Canadian Economics's Analyst or something like that instead of the German Gypsy they made her out to be.

Anyways the Bourne movies have their own style. I won't complain because they are just plain hot.
Haven't read the books, although I wouldn't doubt that they're far deeper than the movies. As for the movies though, I think they're by far some of the most intelligent action movies ever created... which given the genre isn't saying a lot I guess, but whatever, they'll go down in my list of all time favorites I think.
