Few interesting things to note. First on the list is the I-Phone.
If you plan on getting one, read this. It's interesting. The
part I find interesting are the limits on WI-FI access. The short
of it is, if you're using WI-FI to make a call, AT&T doesn't make
any money from you, thus they will limit how often you can use WI-FI
to ensure a steady revenue.

The second link is a taser stuffed into a 12-guage sized
package. Now they can zap you from 100 feet away. What I
find funny is that it keeps shocking you for twenty seconds
after it hits. Wonder how many folks this one will kill ?

clearly not enough, I mean you do have to be pretty retarded to get hit with a taser... being not listening to an officer, arguing with him rather then co operating etc, not that I like "the man" or anything but you do have to be stupid to get tagged with it

hehe not really.

Some view the taser as the solution to all sorts of things.
Thus, they tend to use them a lot more than they probably
should

Granted, a lot of stupid folks get hit with it because, well. . . they're just being stupid. Too many other folks
are getting hit who were in the right to begin with though.

Not as much paperwork to fill out if you zap someone as
opposed to shooting them.

Not listening to or argueing with a police officer is in most situations not a good reason to be tasered. If you really think more people should die because they argued with a police officer weather they were right or not then you have an issue.

Potentially lethal (even rarely) force should be reserved only for those who are putting other members of the public or the police officer at risk of physical harm. Having a big mouth unless you are making it look like you could be about to hurt someone doesn't fall into this catagory.

I don't think loud-mouths should get tasered, but I do think the officer should be able to punch them in the throat!

if a police man is wrong and you argue with him he should be able to dangerously assault you?

If the police are wrong, you had best have some video camera
backup. In court, police testimony > your testimony. Always.

Nothing against police ( father is 36 year officer and brother is US Marshal )
but that's what experience has shown me.

Nah, I was being sarcastic... I personally despise the need for law enforcement, and laws, and all that jazz. I just wish people would use some common sense and be a happy family that works together for the better of mankind, but I don't ever see that happening, which is why people need to get punched in the throat.

MMM, throat punch stupid people.

I just keep hearing about the downsides to having an iPhone. Being overseas makes features like 4 band service (not crap service like ATT) GPS ability, and wi-fi important to me. Sure I love the look of the phone and interface but that might have suckered me into the hugely restrictive world of iPods but i'm thinking i'll stop them from tricking me into an iphone now.

Blackberry i hear just came out with its upgraded version which i believe is a 4 band service with GPS ability combined with google map interaction. plus wifi.
