Has anyone tried it? A friend of mine convinced me to try the free trial a couple days ago and I'm loving it. It's a pretty complex game but very, very, interesting. The only thing I don't care too much for are the fairly travel times. If I had more time to game I would definitely consider buying it.

Bah but this one is public :P It really is a great game. There's so much stuff to do and I'm only on like day two. It's scary to think about how complicated the game is after like 6 months of playing.

For those who don't know it's based in the future and is set in space. You fly ships around to do various things.. PK, mine, missions, etc. Also the world is HUUUUGGGEEEE and it's all one server with around 14k people at peak times. If anyone decides to give it a shot make sure you go through the entire tutorial step by step. The tutorial is very well done and will teach you all the basics you need to know but it is very long and will probably take you about an hour and a half to complete.

Some people used to play it a bunch a few months ago. . .derid, syev, romeo and others I think.

It's a really deep and interesting game. Derid, Hyd, Syev, romeo and dustrider really enjoyed it for a few months. While I found it very interesting there was to much downtime for me. You really need to have a book to read while you travel across the galaxy.

Many people think its the best mmorpg ever made so it is worth a try to you if you enjoy space games and don't mind very long downtime.

The downtime can be irritating. There are ways to heavily mitigate it, but they require a good deal of initial work/planning, like getting insta-jump bookmarks and planning your skills and logistics etc.

Great game though. I'll probably reactivate some accounts sooner or later, Im more in an FPS type mood lately and EVE can play slow. But yeah as far as Economic/PvP/PK/Guild Battles etc, its probably the best game on the market right now.

Like my ship.... was like a luxury car... i drove it off the lot and crashed.... not inssured either HAHAHAHA.... and chez crashed two sport cars pretty much in the same day.... there went his wallet... The game is really hardcore when it comes to pvp. When you die.. it sets u back. Hurts to lose in EVE. But thats what makes it so ownage.
