Summary: Two old people get trapped outside in a snow storm, dog digs narrow tunnel for 20 feet to get back to the house and drags owners through the tunnel to safety. The dog himself was no pup at 7 years old but he still had a lot of vigor left in him!

Summary: The owner's cat starts a fire in the home by knocking over a candle, the owner, having only 1 leg, found she was unable to get to safety alone. Her dog got her prosthetic leg for her and even brought her the phone to call 911. The owner still could not get out because the prosthetic leg was too hot to handle so the dog returned to help again getting the owner out to safety.
The cat meanwhile has gotten itself trapped in the house and is crying for help, so the dog then returns to the fire engulfed house to save the wretched beast. The dog ends up dying in his attempt as does the cat. The owner however suffered only burns to her arm.
