Quad SLI Video card power??

Ok this is getting crazy, so now we can blow like what $1200 on 2 dual GeForce cards and have 4 times the power of having just 1 Geforce card? That's wrong though right? Everytime you add another card it isn't used 100% is it? So have quad card set up would only be like 2.8 times the power of a single card...

Oh HO! Shows how much you know. I got spoiled for future endeavors. My old PC would gag and choke on Photoshop so this upgrade comes just in time for the classes I'll be taking after the new year. I hope to develop the artsy fartsy things I've been fiddling with into something useful.

I don't know if you all remember my post about getting the blue screen of death from a game controller, but anyway (one of the blue screens was caused by verizon online software we figured out after the fact) DELL sent me a brand new top of the line computer to make up for all the hassle i went through and I got one of the 512 sli cards WOOT, only problem is i can barely afford the cost of getting online much less another 512

anyway I finally have my computer back !!
