THE FUTURE OF KGB DARKFALL
As you all know, Darkfall has calmed a bit as everyone awaits an announcement on NA. KGB has been working hard to form a new alliance there. We are in talks with some of our friends now. The idea is to have a non-zerg alliance of close knit guilds that will operate together in a democratic republic. Operating under the temporary name of NATO (North American Treaty Organization - Name is subject to ratification by the alliance members), we should be off to a strong start on NA.
Here is the Alliance Constitution Document written by JetStar and reviewed by Alliance member guilds.

Section 1: Articles of Confederation
The NATO Alliance will be a group of like minded organizations that agree to work together for common goals under a democratic republic government. A Security Council will be set up with the leaders of each member organization and majority will rule. Decisions that involve the alliance will be decided by the council. These decisions will govern:
1) Add member organizations
2) Removing member organizations
3) War and Siege
4) Political stance
Section 2: NATO Security Council
Clause 1: The NATO Security Council is the governing body of the alliance.
Clause 2: Decisions are made by majority by appointed delegates.
Clause 3: Each member organization would appoint 3 voting council delegate / members.
Clause 4: Each member organization has 1 vote that must be cast by one of the 3 delegates of each organization.
Clause 5: Any member organization can bring an item to the council for vote at any time.

Clause 7: Council jurisdiction is limited to:
1) Add member organizations
2) Removing member organizations
3) War and Siege
4) Political stance
Clause 8: When a vote is called, there must be at least 1 delegate / council member on from each organization, unless there is a declared emergency.
Clause 9: In the absence of the required council members, an emergency may be declared. An emergency is a situation where the alliance or one of its holdings is in direct danger.
1) For a valid emergency vote, 50% of the member organizations must be present.
2) The decision of the emergency vote must be unanimous.
Clause 10: A new delegate from any member organization must replace an existing one, and be presented to the Council by a sitting delegate.
Section 3: Adding / Removing Organizations
Clause 1: To add an organization to the alliance, there must be a 75% majority vote in favor
Clause 2: To remove an organization to the alliance, there must be a 75% majority vote in favor
Clause 3: All member organizations must be present for an add or remove vote. Emergencies do not qualify.
Section 4: Representing the Alliance
Clause 1: Organization leaders that officially speak for the alliance, would be limited to commenting on policies and stances that the Security Council has agreed to.
Clause 2: Anyone may speak for themselves or their organization, but in sensitive political matters, will make it clear, "My comments and opinions do not represent the opinions of the NATO Alliance, it's Leadership, and or Member Organizations."

Now all of this hinges on the release of the NA server, which is still unannounced by Aventurine. Right now many players are taking a break to decide their intentions with the current server.
I wanted to make this very clear to all KGB members and current candidates:
KGB is here to stay in Darkfall and will be making a full push to NA regardless of character transfer or other details.
We will be calling on everyone and making announcements as soon as NA details are announced. I would encourage everyone to stay active, and continue to practice and build your skills.
