Changes to the KGB DFO Faction Government - 04/21/09 08:24 AM
KGB Law, specifically the Articles of Confederation clearly state that faction government serves a 60 day term before a vote of confidence is held. This term expires on 04/22. A vote will be posted:
At this point, all of our officers have indicated that they will stay in office except (G2)(F5) Director of Logistics and Operations, Slinger. Slinger will be returning to his former position of Chairman of the KGB Senate. I wanted to this opportunity to thank Slinger for all he has accomplished. He will be returning to RL for now and will remain an important player in KGB. Chairman Slinger will be transitioning his duties to our new Director of Logistics and Operations.
With the advice and consent of the KGB Officer corps, and (G5) High Chancellor Derid, it is my great honor to announce the promotion of Tasho (Jaguar Skullsplitter) to the rank of (G2)(F5) Director of Logistics and Operations. He will be taking over for Chairman Slinger with the transition to begin immediately. Tasho has been involved in diplomatic relations as well as resource management, recruitment, and other important roles.
Please join me in welcoming our latest officer to KGB DFO.
PLEASE NOTE: The 60 day vote of confidence will begin on 04/22 in the DFO members only section. All members should make their opinion known. Read Clause 3 above for details.

FACTION CREATION AND MAINTAINING OFFICE
Clause 3: Every 60 days, the High King/High Queen, with the support of Federal Officers, would hold a vote of confidence. Citizens involved in a specific faction would be required to vote for or against confidence in the current Faction leadership. A Citizen should not vote regarding factions they are NOT involved in. Majority rules. If the current High Chancellor is approved by the membership, then they and their cabinet would remain in office, if voted against, the High King/High Queen would appoint a new High Chancellor.
