HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND NEW YEAR

2017 will mark 20 years of life for KGB. Some of us have been there since the beginning, and most of us have come along in the many years since.

I just wanted to say that it has been an honor serving you these many years and I consider all of you family.

Next time you have a glass of something in your hand, please raise it and say:

Sounds like ample justification for a no notice hospitality check at Jetstar's house.

Either that, or another Vegas get together.

Ya know, 20 years is a good justification for a late summer blow out in Vegas. Gives people a solid 6+ months to get $ and the dates squared away.

My wife, former Nevada resident, suggest late fall or early winter rather than anything connected with summer in Nevada.

If anything you get wonderful traction driving in Nevada in summer. What with your tires sticking to the ground like glue and drinking your body weight in water every hour. What's not to love!

Sidara's side of the family lives on the outskirts of Vegas which makes this idea a good one! Buffets, here I come!

That would be amazing.. Im down for a trip.. Just need to get dates set ASAP so I can put in for time off and work my school schedule around it, as well as get my $$ saving on for a good time.

I'll post a poll to gather numbers and interest.

Don't know if I could make it in Vegas, think I would melt!

We have been discussing in TS the possibility of a KGB cruise.

We should make an event poll.

Vegas trip
KGB cruise
Invasion of KGB HQ party

as much as a cruise is nice.. I would never have that much time off to attend, due to school or work. Getting an extended 3/4 day weekend possible

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Ditto to much of this and damn...20 years. 1997 was a very good year...LOL
Posted By: Owain Re: HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND NEW YEAR - 01/25/17 10:42 PM
We need to get hot on this, or we will miss our opportiunity.

A better option might be a central location. That we we don't automatically eliminate East coast Knights.

Karrie has discovered that San Antonio is hosting a ComiCon Memorial Day weekend, May 24-28. This would be an easy drive for the Texas crew and a reasonable flight for others.

Plus, a CosPlay KGB costume opportunity.

What say you all?

At least shirts. The first meet up in 1998 we all had matching shirts!

I will even buy them. Let me get a discussion going on it as well as alert the SLACK population.

If we are doing this, I need to know like yesterday so I can start budgeting and put in for time off from work as well. Not to mention Decide on if I do summer classes or not.
Posted By: Owain Re: HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND NEW YEAR - 02/06/17 08:58 PM
So far, the reaction has been underwhelming.
