Fact of the matter is, you have to come off the stick or keyboard to touch pad anything. Meanwhile, people (like me) will be using trackIR and voice command to out "clicks per second" you while you enjoy your immersion in the insurance bay waiting for your damaged hull to get returned.
Is it cool, yes. Is it competitive, no.
