I second Owain. For me its Chivas Regal straight all the way !!! Tho sometime I like beer with a bit of Chivas Regal and lemon.

ive never tried jack, hows the taste compared to light liquors such as rum? that bottle looks nice as hell though of single barrel lol

Whiskey doesn't taste anything like rum, so it's hard to compare. Whiskeys, particularly scotch, have a smokier taste as a result of the aging process in charred oak kegs. Scotch also gets a smokey taste because the grain they use to make it is germinated, and then smoked over peat fires prior to fermentation.

You'll just have to give it a try yourself.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that if you haven't been drinking Jack for awhile then your first drinks are gonna be painful It's a strong drink that you sip and pour over ice or mix with water even.

so its kinda like dark beer? first time i drank guiness i thaught it was awful, but after drinking it a few times im in love lol

beleave it or not ive never tried one, never tried baleys irish cream infact, asoon as i get a bottle of it though im defently gonna try one lol, sounds good

Best bourbon I've had yet is a small batch called Basil Hayden. Yum! I normally drink Jack D when I can't afford the $38 Basil bottle
