Anyone really focused on high level play for non-team competitive games such as Quake 3, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, similar game?

I used to play Quake 3 at tourney level, got 23rd place at QuakeCON 2000, and 19th place during QuakeCON 2001 (Even was sponsored by nVidia to travel).

Street Fighter 3rd Strike competitions at EVOs, 46th, 28th, 31st place. (no sponsors - very tough competition)

Now I am focusing on Soul Calibur 3, I am one of the top 5 players in my Southern California Region. Hard to get sponsors for it since Namco hasnt planned an arcade release.

Reading about fine tuning strategies, watching videos of my opponents, practicing and more practicing - its been fun for me and very rewarding. Anyone else enjoy playing to win...for money?

Lucky suit binbs Ace of diamonds and 2 of diamond. If no suited i fold that crap Aces get u in more trouble then any card in holdem. Especially pocket aces like 70% of the time u loose with pocket Aces. If i see a straight possiblity on the board with pocket aces fold. No matter if i know there bluffing or not seen way to many people loose with Aces then any other card in poker. online poker is different then rl poker jus because looking at the person and trying to read them is the hardest part of poker.

Actually Ken. The hand that most people busted out with in the World Series of Poker this year was AK offsuit.
