3 men walk into a hotel to rent a room for the night, the lady at the front desk charges them 30 dollars, so each man pays 10 dollars each. afterwards she realized she over charged them by 5 dollars and gave 5 dollars to the bell boy to run up to them. on the way up the bell boy thought about it and figured that the 3 guys cant split 5 bucks to easy so he pocked 2 and gave them 1 dollar each. so the 3 men actually payed 9 dollars each and the bell boy kept 2.
WHERE IS THE MISSING DOLLAR?!

There isn't even a missing dollar in the question all the guys paid 9 true thats 27 dollars the bell boy took 2 dollars the 27th dollar and the 26th dollar while each of the 3 guys got the 28th the 29th and the 30th dollars

The hotel had the other 25 of the 30

Hotel gets 25, men get 3 back, bellboy gets the remaining 2.

The reason i point where the dollars head when you look at the question of the guys all paying 9 dollars that add to 27 the fac of the matter is you can't add the 2 other dollars to the question 27+2 is 29 and not 30 wheres the missing dollar ? you have to subtract from the question


But the way the question is asked there is no real answer for the question itself you just have to rework the problem and change what the guy is asking you which usually will piss them off because your trying to change the wording of the question which would now make it your question and your answer heh
