It probably does have artificial gravity normally. probably just turned off since the ship was stationary and seemingly in landing sequence. XD Interesting though... being able to get into people's ships in the middle of space.

This was a bug with the PTU it allowed you to select the Connie even though it is not flyable at this time

what you are seeing is the hangar version loaded into arena commander

Fact. See: Donk's Marine Force for Boarding and Repelling.

This is where the "ship gank" conversation leads down a nasty bunny hole to where every carebear dreads entering. CR doesn't want a grief mechanism to make it past the build team. I don't disagree with the concept and the direction, but at some point risk/reward has to have meaning or your title turns into "frag fest" rules for consequences. This is where the entire disabling a ship to a stated degree entered into the conversation about what it takes to "take" a ship from another player. The other concern comes from permanent death from avatar vs. avatar fps combat and how boarding and pew-pew without actually ever capturing a ship will be utilized as a grief mechanic.
