While the assertion that we, as a group, have gamer ADHD is largely true, that recollection of events isn't exactly accurate. There are quite a few of us who quit gaming altogether a month or two after the US server release because we got so disillusioned with DF. Unfortunately, that disillusionment isn't easily forgotten for many of us, and that is the reason for our reluctance to commit to the second iteration of a game that left such a bad taste in our mouths.

DF2 will be the game to KGB play, using tatics and intelligence..

ill give it a try but my gameplay will b limited much like mithus said. we are all older married/kids etc. hehe and my fingers dont work like they use to. old age cramps etc. im going the less clicky of all the classes as far as my class selection goes. im thinking archer hehe

that right there is absolutely correct with roles now and not everyone playing the same role i expect combat to be hands down better and more tactical

Disillusioned is not the word. Pissed is more accurate, which is partly why I'm not altogether champing at the bit to jump back into Darkfall - Planetside, maybe...

what where you pissed about?

I was pissed that after buying the game for the European server, they expected me to buy it again when the North American server opened. Nice way to support the people who supported you. Fuck you very much.
