Hello everyone,

My name is Met/Metus/Kolski and now Metski because someone always gets my name first. RL names Ryan, I'm a 30yr old about to start my last quarter of college. I'm married with a 6yr old boy.

While I would consider myself a RPG man at heart, I fell in love with pvp during my EvE years, and after SWToR died, I thought I would give GW2 a go. The one time fee is nice for us poor people.

A buddy of mine was in a guild - Mythical [SAGA] - so I joined up with them when the game launched, however, no one was ever in vent, and only once did I see someone in wvw and never in spvp, so it was not what I was looking for.

I had followed Don K around a couple of times in wvw (thanks to that commander symbol), but yesterday I decided to ask for an invite, what followed was 6 hours of awesome pvp with a ton of people all working together in vent. I saw the IoJ map turn red, and it was a good night.

I hope to see you all on the battlefield and thank you for your consideration.

Hey, welcome to the forums. Glad that you were able to hook up with us in game and that you had fun pvping under the guild tags. Its also good that you're eager to join KGB proper, but I can't stress enough how important it is to get to know the people you want to game with and, more importantly, to let them get to know you. Keep hanging out with us in vent and joining in on group pve and pvp and everyone can get to know you and vice versa. Finding a sponsor at that point will require no further effort on your part, as someone will likely volunteer without you even having to ask.

This is assuming of course that noone steps up and sponsors you right away from the time you spent with the guild earlier =)

hey , so... I thought that if when you become a recruit you have 10 days to get a sponsor or you will be kicked from the guild (in GW2), mainly this line "You will be eligible to be added to the KGB organization as a recruit for a 10 day period."

after further reading, Im guessing that in GW2 is a "KGB Faction State" and does not require full citizenship.

That being said, I would still like to become a member, however, I am not in such a hurry to find a sponsor... my awesomeness will speak for itself in time :)
