Toying around with this some more. I have another idea in my head for a logo, but finding the time to make it happen is almost impossible. Between work, Aikido, and a parrot who can't stand to be away from me for more than two minutes, finding any time to play with this is tough.
Personally, I think the shield with a beer mug incorporated into it is the way to go
